The Model 720 Palletizer was designed and engineered to fit applications where the following requirements were vital:

• Palletizing rates of up to 15 packages per minute
Complete control system with no field wiring
High reliability and low maintenance
Minimal space requirements
Heavy duty tubular construction
Increased pallet stability
Improved load appearance
Elimination of potential injury claims
No contaminating hydraulics
Off the shelf components
Quick Delivery
Low cost for quick return on investment

The Model 720 was introduced to fill the void where high speed, high level palletizers were used for lower speed applications without sacrificing features. The Model 720 will palletize bags, bales, bundles, and cartons requiring multiple patterns and layers for production rates in the range of 12 to 15 packages per minute. This unit will reduce labor costs, increase production and eliminate potential lifting injuries.

Control Circuit - 115 Volts provided by transformer
Electrical Service - 30 Amp supply at 460 Volts (supply line by customer)
Pneumatic:
Operating Pressure - 80 PSI
Air Consumption - 5 SCFM per layer based on
a 5 bag pattern at 12 BPM
Mechanical:

Discharge Elevation - 18 Inches.

Operation
Packages enter the Model 720 after being conveyed and spaced by new or existing conveyors upstream. When the bags enter the turning conveyor, they are counted and recorded by the PLC which sends an output signal to the turning device. Packages that require turning, are automatically rotated and proceed to the layer forming conveyor. As a row is formed in the layer forming conveyor, they are automatically pushed to the row accumulation plate. When a complete layer is formed, the pusher will gently index the complete layer onto the stripper plate. Once the layer is on the stripper plate, the carriage assembly will position each layer by raising or lowering the stripper plate assembly over the empty pallet or previous layer. Once in position, the back squaring plate will lower and the side squaring plates will extend to contain the layer for the stripping cycle. This ensures a square and compacted pattern for each layer. While the stripper plate carriage is seeking and depositing layers, other rows are being formed on the layer forming conveyor and accumulation plate.

When the desired number of layers are complete, the filled pallet is indexed out of the palletizer and an empty pallet will move into the stacking position. The empty pallet dispenser will hold and dispense approximately 13 to 15 pallets.

Conveying Industries can meet your total system requirements with a complete line of material handling equipment, including Conveyors and fully Automatic Palletizers.
